Will Coles

Musculoskeletal Physio
BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science & Physiotherapy, MCSP HCPC registered

Will has been working with Borders Physiotherapy for the past 2 years, treating mainly musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.

Shropshire born and bred, Will has always been passionate about sport from a young age.

This led him to his first degree, a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Birmingham, which he completed in 2013. During this time, he also completed internships with West Ham United Football Club and worked with the Jamaican Olympic Track and Field Team at the 2012 Olympics.
Keen to be more hands on with treatments for sporting injuries and other conditions, Will returned to University to do a BSc in Physiotherapy at Brunel University in London, qualifying in 2017.

He began his Physiotherapy career at the esteemed Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Gobowen, completing his junior rotations before taking up a role as a Specialist Physiotherapist in Rheumatology at RJAH.

In addition, Will has recently been invited to join the Foot and Ankle team as specialist physiotherapist, working alongside Noel Harding and Jane Leah in clinic. Will also has a part-time role as a Physiotherapist at Oswestry Minor Injuries Unit. Keen to push the boundaries, Will has recently completed an MSc module in First Contact Practitioner at UCLAN University, and continues with his studies.

Whilst at University Will represented Great Britain Universities Football Team. Now he prefers to play golf in his spare time off a handicap of 7. He has recently taken up the ukulele, much to his girlfriend’s dismay…
