Catrin graduated from the University of Salford with a BSc (Hons) degree in physiotherapy in 2005.

Catrin's first post was at Leighton hospital in Crewe where she worked as a rotational physiotherapist covering all specialities.

Since this time, Catrin has progressed in her career in the NHS working to specialise in musculoskeletal injuries and has a particular interest in the upper limb, neck and upper back. Aside from her NHS work, Catrin has worked in the private sector since 2007 and has treated all ages of patient, and a vast spectrum of injuries. Catrin was the physiotherapist at Sandbach Rugby Club for 5 years and enjoys treating acute sports injuries.

In 2013, Catrin graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a Masters degree in Manual Therapy.

This has enabled her to join the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP) which is internationally recognised. The course has enhanced Catrin’s hands-on skills and specialist assessments.

Catrin’s current NHS posts are split between the Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt hospital in Oswestry and Leighton Hospital in Crewe as an Upper Limb Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist. Her role includes treating patients in physiotherapy as well as seeing patients as part of the Upper Limb teams in the Orthopaedic clinics. In this role, Catrin is qualified to give cortisone injections. In addition, she is qualified in acupuncture and is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP). In her spare time, Catrin enjoys attending the gym, playing golf, watching rugby, walking her dog and spending time with her friends and family
