Jane has gained vast experience in dealing with both acute and chronic sports injuries after taking up the position of Head Academy Physiotherapist at Crewe Alexandra F.C. in 1997.
She was responsible for looking after academy footballers and also working as part of the medical/ physiotherapy team looking after YTS and 1st team players.
From 1999 to present day, Jane has worked as a Lower Limb Specialist Physiotherapy Practitioner in the NHS. In addition, she has worked as a Senior Sports Injuries Physiotherapist with the Sports Injury Team of Consultant Sports Injury Surgeons, including working alongside Mr Dai Rees, one of the UK’s top knee surgeons.

Jane has, since 2012,worked as a specialist physiotherapy practitioner with the Foot and Ankle team, working closely alongside the Foot and Ankle team of Consultant Surgeons at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Gobowen, UK.
Jane’s interests are mainly involved in treating lower limb injuries.
These include hip/groin, knee and foot and ankle conditions where she has gained extensive experience and keeping up to date in these areas of specialities by attending annual international and national conferences. Jane has also gained a recognised Pilates qualification (APPI) to teach in a class setting or an individual basis for a variety of injuries/conditions.

Jane is also involved in education of undergraduate Physiotherapy students and is active in rehabilitative research and audit, including giving lectures nationally and internationally.
Away from work, she enjoys swimming, running and going to the gym and spending time with her family.
