Improve function & avoid secondary complications
Neurological physiotherapy aims to improve the quality of life of people with neurological conditions by physically addressing their individual needs and working with them to improve their function and helping them to avoid secondary complications.
Neurological conditions may be problems with the brain, spinal cord, or the peripheral nerves. Many of these conditions generate problems with physical functions including mobility, muscle strength, range of movement and balance, which respond well to physiotherapy. Treatment is specific to the individual and the condition and will focus on the agreed goals discussed at the point of assessment.
Typical conditions that we treat are:
• Stroke (CVA) • Multiple Sclerosis (MS) • Parkinsons Disease (PD) • Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) • Guillaine-Barre Syndrome (GBS) • Cerebral Palsy (CP) • Facial palsy • Vestibular conditions

“Pauline performed a miracle… no other way to describe it. My 12 year old was unable to walk for 6 weeks due to balance problems. We spent one hour with Pauline and she works out what it is and how to cure it.”

“The professional way in which Jane and her team have handled each injury has allowed me to return to my sport quickly but without risk of further injury and in most cases return stronger and fitter”
