BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy MCSP HPC registered

I served 6 years in the RAF before graduating in Physiotherapy from Keele University in 1998. After working 2 years as a junior in Bangor I returned to the specialist Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Gobowen.

I now work full time in musculoskeletal out-patients. My specialist interest lies in sports injury rehabilitation and lower limb having worked alongside Mr Dai Rees, one of the UK’s top knee surgeon’s for 7 years.

My other work includes working in British Superbikes for 6 years. As part of a 3 Physio team within the medical organisation, I assist riders with recovery from trauma as well as on going musculoskeletal problems on the race weekends. I have experience of treating BSB, WSB and MotoGP riders. It has also been good to work along side local motocross and enduro riders including Tom Sagar.

My professional development is important. Most recently including courses on sporting hip and groin, practical podiatry and instrument assisted massage.

I believe in a positive dynamic approach to patient treatment by good assessment whilst striving for the best possible outcome.
