John graduated from Salford University in 2010 as a Chartered Physiotherapist after spending more than 10 years as a professional footballer.

His first post after qualifying was as a junior Physiotherapist at the Leighton Hospital, Crewe where he worked in Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Neurology and Elderly Care, before becoming a senior Physiotherapist in outpatients.

In addition to his NHS work, John has worked for numerous sporting organisations. He has worked as Head Physiotherapist for Welsh Premier football club, Airbus Broughton FC. His responsibilities included treatment and rehabilitation for all players in the club and in charge of all medical provision. John has also worked for Hockey Wales, Football Association of Wales and Wrexham FC.

He currently holds a position at English Premiership club, Liverpool FC, as Academy Physiotherapist. In this role he has gained valuable experience working with elite junior athletes.

John also maintains his interests in all sports, however being a keen footballer, John holds position as player/coach for Welsh Premier football club Rhyl FC.
